This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing Mode. 2.
Heard Mr. J. Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.R. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.
According to Mr.Gupta, the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities more particularly, the Tahasildar, Brahmagiri (opposite party no.2) in taking a decision on his application filed on 6.11.2021 under Annexure-3 for settlement of land in respect of Plot No.503 under Khata No.258 of Mouza Manikpatna under Brahmagiri Tahasil in the district of Puri. In such background, he prays that a direction be given to the said opposite party to take a decision on the said application within specific time period.

Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Tahsildar, Brahmagiri (opposite party no.2) to take a decision on the above noted application under Annexure-3 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The writ application is accordingly disposed of. 6.
As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation
