This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Learned counsel for the petitioner by producing a No Dues Certificate issued by the opposite party submits that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and therefore, liberty may be granted to the parties to compound the offence before the Court in seisin of the case.

Learned counsel for the opposite party raised no objection to such submission, rather he submits that the matter has already been amicably settled between the parties and it is a proceeding U/S.138 of the N.I. Act, which can be compounded between the parties. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submissions and taking into consideration the averments of the petitioner in CRLMC application, the CRLMC is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner and the

// 2 // opposite party to file joint compromise petition before the Court in seisin of the case and in that event, the learned Court in seisin of the case may proceed in accordance with law.
