2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer to direct the opp. party No.6-President, VEC, Narama to recommend her name to the opp. party No.3-District Project Officer-cum-D.I. of Schools, Balasore for the post of Education Volunteer under Education Guarantee Scheme and further to direct the opp. party No.3 to consider her case for the post of Education Volunteer after receiving recommendation from the opp. party No.6.
3. Mr. S.N.Mohapatra, learned Standing Counsel for the School and Mass Education Department submits that in the meantime the Centers under the Education Guarantee Scheme have been upgraded to Primary Schools, for which, the Education Volunteers were retrenched and pursuant to resolution of the Government in the year,
// 2 // 2008 the Education Volunteers were rehabilitated by absorbing them as Gana Sikhyaka.
4. In view of the above development, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned, if any cause of action survives.
5. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules. .........................
