1. Mr. Rath, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner places before the Court a copy of the order dated 29th November 2007 passed by the Industrial Tribunal, Bhubaneswar in I.D. Case No.15 of 2004 recording the fact that a petition has been received from the General Secretary of the Union-Opposite Party No.4 herein "to drop the proceeding."

2. However, in view of the interim order passed by this Court on 23rd August 2004, the said I.D. case could not be closed.

3. In that view of the matter, the question raised in the present writ petition has become academic. Taking note of the above development, this Court disposes of the present writ petition and vacates the interim order to enable the consequential order to be passed by the Industrial Tribunal in I.D. Case No.15 of 2004.
