1. This petition, which was filed in 2009, aggrieved by the Order No.

cancellation of allotment of land on the ground that it was not utilized for the purpose of which the allotment was made within the time stipulated, came up for hearing only in 2014 when notice was issued. Thereafter, it is coming up for hearing today more than seven years later.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner claims that the Petitioner is still paying ground rent, water cess etc. in respect of the land in question and is still in possession of the land. In that view of the matter, he seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the authority for revocation of cancellation in accordance with law.

3. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
