This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/ Physical Mode).

Mrs. Saswata Patnaik, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the State has placed before us a written instruction dated 12.07.2022 that she had received from I.I.C., Khandagiri Police Station, Bhubaneswar. It appears from the said written instruction that the victim girl whose name has been withheld for protection of her identity has been recovered. Her statement under Section 161 of the Cr.P.C. has been recorded and thereafter the custody of the victim girl had been restored to her parents.

None appears for the petitioner, when the matter is called out. 4.

But in view of the above instruction, this proceeding stands closed and disposed of.
