The State and its functionaries have filed this Writ Petition challenging the order dated 13.07.2007 passed by the Orissa Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar Bench, Bhubaneswar in O.A. No. 668 of 2000 and consequential order dated 08.04.2009 passed in R.P. No. 14 of 2008.

This Court, while entertaining this Writ Petition, called upon the learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department to take instructions with regard to status of the case. In compliance of the said direction, Mr. S. Jena, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department received instructions on 26.06.2022 and stated that the Opposite Party has been re-engaged in her service on 24.10.2011 by the District Inspector of School, Rairkhol and subsequently transferred to Jogipalli Upper Primary School of Dhankauda Block in the year 2019-20. As such, her service has been regularized w.e.f. 12.10.2011, vide order dated 06.01.2021 passed by the District Education Officer, Sambalpur. Therefore, he does not want to press this Writ Petition in view of the instructions received on 26.06.2022.

In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition stands disposed of as not pressed in terms of the instructions received by learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department on 26.06.2022.
