Since the petitioner has filed this writ petition for correction of his date of birth recorded in the certificate and the Service Book, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for declaration of his correct date of birth.

With above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of granting liberty as aforesaid.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
