This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). This is an application for modification of the order dated 02.02.2022.

While disposing of the anticipatory bail application, so far as petitioner no.5 Akhaya Kumar Jenamani is concerned, it was directed that if he surrenders and moves for bail in the Court below

// 2 // within a period of four weeks from that date, the same shall be disposed of by the Courts below as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law and claim of parity shall be taken into account.

Learned counsel for the petitioner no.5 submits that the Courts below may be directed to dispose of the bail application on the same day and to that extent the order be modified.

I am not inclined to accept such prayer.

Accordingly, I.A. is dismissed.

The surrender period is extended till 17.03.2022.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
