This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.

Since there is dispute with regard to eligibility of giving compassionate appointment, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction to that extent to the authorities. In any case, the petitioners are permitted to pursue the remedy before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if they are so advised.

With the aforesaid liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of.
