1.None appears for the Petitioner.
2.A direction was sought to the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) to allow the Petitioner to deposit the balance amount and allow the Petitioner to continue in possession of the house in question. On 23rd July, 2012 while directing notice to issue in the petition, this Court directed status quo to be maintained subject to Petitioner depositing Rs.20,000/- within a month. On such deposit, the amount was to be encashed by the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court and kept in a fixed deposit in any Nationalized Bank. After that, no order was passed in the present petition.
3. Counsel appearing for the BDA states that because of the stay order the Petitioner continues in possession but the amount owed by him to the BDA has substantial increased and he has made no payment.

4. In the circumstances, while dismissing the petition, the Court directs that the FDR amount together with the interest accrued be released to the BDA within a period of four weeks for which purpose the authorized representative of the BDA will remain present before the Registrar (Judicial) on 21st June, 2022.
5. The interim order stands vacated. The writ petition is accordingly, dismissed.
