This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. M.B. Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Parija, learned Advocate General along with Mr. D. Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.

According to Mr. Rao, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the I.I.C., Rajgangpur P.S. (opposite party No.3) in registering his complaint dated 25.10.2021 under Annexure-2 as F.I.R.

During course of hearing, Mr. Rao submits that the petitioner be permitted to raise his grievances before the Superintendent of Police, Sundargarh (opposite party No.2) by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific time period. 5.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court permits the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite

// 2 // party No.2 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a certified copy of this order, the opposite party No.2 is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
