This matter is taken up through Videoconferencing Mode. 2.

Heard Mr. Behera, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.

According to Mr. Behera, Petitioners are aggrieved by nonallotment of any land in their favour, as they have no land to fall back upon after their lands were acquired for the purpose of Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, Bolangir.

During course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submit liberty may be granted to the Petitioners to file representations before the Special Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation Officer, Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, Bolangir (OP No.2) and further prays that a direction may be issued to the said Opposite Party to take a decision of their representation within a specific time period.

Considering such submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the Petitioners to file individual representations before Opposite Party No.2 along with a copy of this order by registered post within a period of two weeks hence. In the event, such

// 2 // representations are received by the Opposite Party No.2, he/she is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of three months there from and communicate the result of such exercise to the Petitioners. 6.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
