This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing mode. 2.

The present CRLMC petition has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer for a direction to Opposite Party Nos.1 to 4 for protecting the Petitioner from the false FIR/frivolous litigation filed/to be filed by the Opposite Party Nos.5 and 6 in order to drag him into criminal litigation and also to spoil his future life by harassing him physically, mentally and also financially. 3.

On perusal of the Petition, this Court is of the prima facie view that such a petition is not maintainable. However, if the Petitioner feels that there is threat to his life and career, he may seek protection under the provision of law by taking resort to appropriate remedy. In other words, if there is threat to his life by any person, then it is open to the Petitioner to approach the jurisdiction of the local police station, as and when required.

With the aforesaid direction, the CRLMP stands disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID -19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Court's Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
