2. In this writ petition, the petitioners who are the functionaries of the State Government have challenged the order dated 20.09.2013 passed by the Orissa Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar in O.A. No.1726 of 2007.

Since the order of the Tribunal is under challenge and in the meantime the opp. party No.1 has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation, by efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, as infructuous. However, if any cause of action still survives, the petitioners are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the appropriate forum, if they are so advised.
