1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode. Order No.

2. The Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the opposite parties to cancel the registration certificate of the vehicles pursuant to the representations made by him.

3. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

4. The Petitioner made a representation regarding cancellation of the registration of the vehicles in the name of the hire purchasers in order to allow him to sell the vehicles. However, the representation in this regard has been made to the Transport Commissioner, vide Annexure-3, which is stated to be pending. 5.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner during the course of argument to direct the Transport

// 2 // Commissioner to dispose of the representation, vide Annexure3, as per the guidelines, within a stipulated period. 6.

Mr. Behera, learned Standing Counsel for the Transport, submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the Transport Commissioner to dispose of the representation, vide Annexure-3, if the same is still pending. 7.

Considering the facts and the submissions made, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the representation, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Transport Commissioner to dispose of the representation vide Annexure-3, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks hence in accordance with law, if the same is still pending.
