Mr. Dash, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicant and submits, his client had applied for cognizance of contempt on wilful and deliberate violation of directions made in order dated 7th May, 2015 disposing of W.P.(C) no.8690 of 2015. He submits, copy of compliance affidavit has been received, in which is disclosed letter dated 18th April, 2022 regretting acceptance of his client's claim for compassionate grant. He submits, his client needs to challenge the letter.

Mr. Panda, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of alleged contemner and tenders unconditional apology for delayed compliance.

The apology is accepted and compliance recorded. The contempt application is disposed of. Petitioner is at liberty to challenge said letter dated 18th April, 2022.
