1. The prayer in the present petition is limited to seeking a refund of Rs.40,000/- purportedly paid by the Petitioner at the time of an auction held in 2001 for sale of a vehicle by the Orissa State Financial Corporation (OSFC).

2. There is no explanation why the Petitioner waited for seven years thereafter that to file the present petition. Moreover, there is a dispute raised in the reply filed by OSFC whether in fact the Petitioner at all participated in the auction or deposited a sum of Rs.40,000/-.

3. In that view of the matter, the reliefs prayed for cannot be granted by this Court.
