This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. This writ petition involves the following prayer: "Therefore, it is prayed that the Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to admit the Writ Application, issue rule NISI in the nature of Writ of mandamus or any other Writ/Writs as deem fit and direct, the Tahasildar, Lanjigarh to consider the Annexure-3 Dt. 26.10.2021 and settle the land in favour of the petitioner as a landless person, within a particular period.
And may further be pleased to pass such other/further writ/writs, direction/directions, order/orders as deem fit and proper in fact and circumstances of the case for the interest of justice and equity."
4. Considering the submissions made by the parties, this Court in disposal of the writ petition directs the opposite party no.4 to consider the application at the instance of the
petitioner vide Annexue-3 and take a lawful decision in the matter taking into account the grounds stated in this writ petition so also the documents appended thereto.
5. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner.
6. As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court's notice no. 4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
