Mr. Sahoo, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, there has been police inaction in spite of direction by learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhubaneswar passed in 1CC no.5963 of 2021 dated 27th December, 2021. Mr. Sharma, learned advocate, Addl. Govt. Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, Mancheswar P.S. Case no.457 dated 28th December, 2021 has been initiated on sections 386, 452, 354, 342, 506, 323, 394, 34 of Indian Penal Code along with section 25 of Arms Act, 1959. The police are acting on the directions of the Magistrate. 2.
On record of above submissions and expectation that the police will follow up and complete investigation within the statutory period, the writ petition is disposed of.
