Heard Ms.P.P.Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.K.Samal, learned Addl. Government Advocate for the State. 3.

According to Ms.Rao the grievance of the petitioner in this case pertains to inaction of the authorities in extending him the benefits under the Pradhan Mantry Awas Yojana as per the beneficiaries list published under Annexure-2. She further submits that though the petitioner has filed a representation on 12.10.2021 before the Block Development Officer, Deogaon Block in the district of Balangir (opposite party No.2) under Annexure-3 however till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, she prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above representation under Annexure-3 within a specific time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Block Development Officer, Deogaon Block (opposite party No.2) to take a decision on the above noted representation

// 2 // in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
