The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to appoint him under R.A. scheme as per Odisha Civil Service (Rehabilitation Assistance) Rules, 1990 instead of Odisha Civil Service (Rehabilitation Assistance) Rules, 2020.

Mr. S.P. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already made representation before opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-9, and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time taking into consideration the judgment of the apex Court in the case of State of Madhya Pradesh v. Ashish Awasthi, 2021(II) OLR (SC) 1072.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of directing opposite party no.1 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner under Annexure-9 taking into consideration the judgment of the
apex Court in the case of State of Madhya Pradesh v. Ashish Awasthi, 2021(II) OLR (SC) 1072, and pass a reasoned and speaking order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the certified/authenticated copy of this order.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
