This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to engage him as Ganasikshyak in view of the government resolution dated 16.02.2008 under Annexure-6 and the order dated 03.07.2008 under Annexure-8, as he is otherwise entitled for the same in view of the fact that similarly situated persons have already been engaged as Ganasikhyak in compliance of the order passed by this Court in the case of Sulochana Nayak v. State of Orissa (W.P.(C) No.3317 of 2009 disposed of on 07.04.2009).

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievance, the petitioner has made representation to the opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-12 and direction be given to consider and dispose of the same within a stipulated time.

In view of the aforesaid limited grievance of the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-12 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified/ authenticated copy of this order

by the petitioner.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court's notice no. 4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
