1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner is aggrieved by an encroachment notice issued by the Tahasildar, Kamakhyanagar, Dhenkanal under the Orissa Prevention of Land Encroachment (OPLE) Act. He claims that the Petitioner's case under the OEA Act is also pending before the Tahasildar pursuant to a remand ordered by the Additional District Magistrate in an appeal filed by the Petitioner.

2. It will be open to the Petitioner to appear before the Tahasildar pursuant to the impugned notice and place all facts within his knowledge and documents relevant to the case before the Tahasildar for his decision.

3. The Petitioner will appear before the Tahasildar on 4th April, 2022 and the orders on the show-cause notice will be passed not later than three months thereafter. Till then, status quo as of today shall be maintained.
