This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). As per the order dated 17.03.2022, the opposite party Gyanaranjan @ Jnanaranjan Nayak appeared through virtual mode from Choudwar Jail, Cuttack and the victim Sasmita Patra also appeared through virtual mode as per the arrangement made by the Inspector in-charge of Aul police station.
The opposite party Gyanaranjan @ Jnanaranjan Nayak has filed an affidavit pleading for unconditional apology for his conduct and stated that he had no intention to violate the undertakings made before this Court. It is further stated that he is in custody since
// 2 // 07.01.2022 and further stated that he will take positive steps in bringing back his wife and son to his house and also take necessary steps for the admission of his son in the school. The affidavit filed is taken on record.
The unconditional apology is accepted.
The opposite party Gyanaranjan @ Jnanaranjan Nayak shall be released from custody forthwith. The SUOMOTU CONTR proceeding is dropped.
The file be placed before the learned Registrar (Judicial) of this Court for necessary communication and compliance.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application during course of the day.
