1. During the eight years of pendency of the present petition, no steps have been taken to serve Opposite Party No.5, who is the main affected party.

2. On this short ground itself, the present petition cannot be entertained. The interim order passed by this Court requiring a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to be paid to Opposite Party No.5 is stated to have been complied with by the Petitioners.

3. Considering that the total amount asked to be paid is only Rs.5,00,000/-, the Court does not consider it appropriate to even interfere on merits. The writ petition is dismissed. (Dr. S. Muralidhar) Chief Justice (R.K. Pattanaik) Judge S.K. Guin
