1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard Mr. P.C. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P.P. Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State.
3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the letter dated 24.03.2014 under Annexure-5 issued by the opposite party no.4- Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Karanjia, by which contract of the petitioner has been terminated.
4. Mr. P.C. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that as per Clause-24 of the agreement itself, there is Dispute Redressal System. Accordingly, the petitioner had approached the authorities on 19.06.2015 for redressal of its dispute. But, the same is yet to be considered by the authorities.
5. Mr. P.P. Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State contended that if the application filed by the petitioner on 19.06.2015 is still pending consideration, let
// 2 // direction be given to consider the same in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the parties.
6. In view of the submissions made above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of directing the authorities concerned to consider the application dated 19.06.2015 filed by the petitioner as per Clause-24 of the agreement itself as early as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks of receipt/ communication of this order.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
8. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
