Heard Mr.Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Zafrulla, learned Addl. Standing Counsel. 3.

According to Mr. Sahu, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on in connection with Pattamundai P.S. Case No.729 dated 27.12.2021 registered for commission of offences under Sections 452, 323, 307, 380 read with Section 34 I.P.C. He further submits that though highlighting his grievances the petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara (opposite party No.3) by filing a grievance petition on 5.1.2022 under Annexure-3 by sending a copy of the same through registered post on 6.1.2022 however till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite

// 2 // party No.3 to take a decision on the above representation under Annexure-3 within a specific time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Kendrapara (opposite party No.3) to take a decision on the above noted grievance petition under Annexure-3 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly the CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
