1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. The grievance of the Petitioner in this writ petition is renewal of trade certificate. However, no application has been annexed in this writ petition.

3. Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has applied for renewal of trade certificate, which is pending before the R.T.O., Puri.

4. Mr. Behera, learned Standing Counsel for the Transport Department, submits that if such an application is pending, he has no objection if a direction is given to the R.T.O concerned

// 2 // for disposal of the same but since the Petitioner has not annexed the same and on what ground he has sought for renewal of the trade certificate, this Court should not express any opinion on the merit of the same.

5. On consideration of the aforesaid facts and the submissions made, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the R.T.O., Puri to take a decision on the application of the Petitioner with regard to renewal of the trade certificate, if the same is pending, in accordance with law not later than 10th March, 2022 and intimate the decision thereof to the Petitioner latest by 16th March, 2022 provided the Petitioner produces a certified copy of this order by 22nd February, 2022 before the R.T.O., Puri positively.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
