Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to include his higher qualification, i.e. B. Tech (Electrical Engineering), in his service record/service book and grant him all consequential service and financial benefits flowing from such qualification within a stipulated period.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that highlighting the grievance, the petitioner has made representation to opposite party no.2 vide Annexure-7, which has been forwarded by opposite party no.4-Superintending Engineer (Electrical), Electrical Circle No.1, TPCODL, Bhubaneswar vide Annexure-6 dated 09.11.2020. Therefore, direction may be issued to consider the same within a stipulated time.

In view of the aforesaid limited grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.3 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner under Annexure-7, which has been forwarded by opposite party no.4 vide Annexure-6 dated 09.11.2020 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
