1. The limited prayer in the present petition is for quashing of a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) issued against the present Petitioner in ICC Case No.437 of 2012, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M. (S), Cuttack. The Petitioner is stated to be a physically disabled person.

2. Considering the limited prayer, while quashing the said NBW, this Court directs that the Petitioner shall arrange to remain present before the Court concerned on 5th September 2022, on which date the Court will proceed with the matter in accordance with law. Further, the Court clarifies that it has not expressed any view on merits. The petition is disposed of. The interim order passed earlier is hereby vacated.

3. The Superintendent of the concerned Branch is directed to immediately communicate this order to the concerned Subordinate Court.
