1. The limited prayer in the present petition is for the quashing of an NBW issued against the Petitioner.

2. Having considered the submissions made by counsel, this Court quashes the NBW issued against the Petitioner, by virtue of the order passed by the S.D.J.M., Kendrapara in G.R. Case No.165 of 2007. The said case will be listed before the said Court on 5th September, 2022 when the Petitioner shall remain present before it. The said case will thereafter proceed in accordance with law. The Court clarifies that it has not expressed any view on merits.

3. Accordingly, the CRLMC is disposed of.

4. The interim order passed earlier is hereby vacated.

5. The Superintendent of the concerned Branch is directed to immediately communicate this order to the concerned subordinate Court.
