ORDER

1. The Petitioners have purchased a portion of the land in question under a Registered Sale Deed which was prior to the date of cancellation of the lease by the impugned order dated 30th June, 1998 of the Additional District Magistrate (ADM), Bhubaneswar in Revision Case No.637 of 1998.

2. Admittedly, no notice was issued to the Petitioners prior to the impugned order being passed.

3. On the above short ground, the impugned order is hereby set aside to the extent of the land purchased by the present Petitioners and to that extent the Revision Case No.637 of 1998 is restored to the file of ADM, Bhubaneswar. It shall be listed there for hearing on 12th September, 2022 on which date the Petitioner shall remain present with a downloaded copy of this order. The Court clarifies that it has not expressed any view on merits. The ADM,

Bhubaneswar is requested to dispose of the said revision case within a period of six months thereafter.

4. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
