This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438, Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with Kantabanji P.S. Case No.328 of 2021 corresponding to G.R.

// 2 // Case No. 666 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Kantabanji for alleged commission of offences under sections 143, 294, 325, 354, 307, 457/149 of the Indian Penal Code.

Perused the F.I.R. annexed to the anticipatory bail application.

Learned counsel for the State submitted that the injured has sustained head injury as well as injury on the eye and the doctors are expecting that on account of the injury on the eye, he may lose his eye sight forever.

In view of the nature and gravity of accusation, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, liberty is granted to the petitioners to surrender and move for bail in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today in the event of which the learned Court below shall dispose of the same in accordance with law expeditiously. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned for disposal of the bail application.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
