This matter is taken up by Video Conferencing Mode. Order No.

The Petitioner being in custody in connection with Mancheswar P.S. Case No.227 of 2017 corresponding to C.T. No.37/248 of 2017 on the file of learned 2nd Addl. Dist. & Sessions Judge, Bhubaneswar for alleged commission of offence under Section-302 of the IPC, has filed this application under section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for his release on bail in the above mentioned case.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Considering the submissions made and on going through the materials on record as placed, while being not grant of bail to the Petitioner, this application stands disposed of with the observation that the trial court would do well to take all such effective steps as provided in law for conclusion of the trial as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
