1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. By order dated 25.07.2022, we had asked to submit before us the report of the DNA profiling of the bodies exhumed.

3. Ms. S. Patnaik, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate has submitted that she has filed an affidavit stating that one of the bodies exhumed for DNA profiling is of the nephew of the petitioner namely Md. Zahid. Ms. Patnaik has further submitted that in this connection a specific police case has been registered for disclosure of the identity.

However, the petitioner has filed today a memorandum seeking withdrawal of this petition as, according to him, the petition has become infructuous. Memo is taken on record.

5. As such the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
