The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite parties to consider the representation of the petitioner in Annexure-10 and antedate the promotion given to the petitioner to the post of Under Secretary with effect from 03.03.2014 instead of 17.11.2021 and to allow him all consequential service and financial benefits including further promotions.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioner has made a representation to opposite party No.1 vide Annexure-10 and the same may be directed to be considered within a stipulated time, taking into consideration Annexures-4, 5 and 9 to which learned counsel for the State has no objection.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party No.1 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-10, taking into consideration Annexures-4, 5 and 9, and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified/authenticated copy this order.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court's Notice No. 4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
