This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.
Heard Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Zafarulla, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
At the outset, Mr. A. Mohanty, who happens to be the associate of Mr. Jena is permitted to implead the Deputy Superintendent of Police, C.I.D., C.B., Cuttack as opposite party No.7 in this petition in Court today.

According to Mr. Jena, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in concluding the investigation pursuant to registration of F.I.R. styled as Kujang P.S. Case No.264 dated 05.11.2016 corresponding the C.I.D. P.S. Case No.15 dated 21.07.2017 registered for commission of offence under Section 302 of I.P.C..

Mr. Zafarulla, submits that as the culprits could not be identified from C.C. T.V. footage, the investigation is still on. 6.
Considering the submissions made and since this is a year old matter, this Court disposes of this CRLMP directing the
// 2 // Deputy Superintendent of Police, C.I.D., C.B., Cuttack (opposite party No.7) to take all effective steps to complete the investigation of the above noted P.S. case in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.

A free copy of this order, be handed over to Mr. Zafarulla, learned Additional Standing Counsel for onward transmission and compliance.
