This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing Mode.

According to Mr. Sahoo, the Petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the Opposite Parties in allowing him additional wage on the basis of the Government Notification vide Office Memorandum No.15847/W dated 19.11.2019 and Office Memorandum No.8189/W dated 07.06.2021 (Annexure-4 series). It is further submitted that though highlighting the above grievance, the Petitioner has approached the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Rairangpur (OP No.4) by filing a representation dated 11th October, 2021 under Annexure-3, but till date nothing has been done for redressal of his grievances. In view of the above, a direction may be issued to Opposite Party No.4 to take a decision on the representation within a specified time.

Considering such submission, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs Opposite Party No.4- Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division,

// 2 // Rairangpur to take a decision on the above noted representation of the Petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate result of such exercise to the Petitioner. 4.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
