This is an application under section 438 of Cr.P.C.
for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with Purusottampur P.S. Case No.195 of 2020 corresponding to G.R. Case No.189 of 2020 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., Purusottampur for alleged commission of offences under sections 498-A/304-B/306/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with section 4 of the D.P. Act.
Learned counsel for the State on instruction submitted that the petitioner has not been charge
// 2 // sheeted as yet and the investigation has been kept open.
In view of the available materials on record against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. If the petitioner, in future apprehends arrest in connection with the case, he is at liberty to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
