This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to Level-IV H.M. w.e.f. 27.10.2000 and to Level-III Headmaster w.e.f. 19.12.2012 and to pay all consequential service benefits with immediate effect and also consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to Level-II Headmaster w.e.f. 20.07.2021.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh representation before the authority concerned highlighting his grievance and direction may be given to the said authority to consider the same within a stipulated time, to which learned

counsel for the State has no objection.

As agreed to by the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition with the direction that in case the petitioner, with regard to the grievance made in this petition, files a fresh comprehensive representation before the authority concerned within 15 days hence, the said authority shall consider and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of such representation along with the certified copy of this order.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court's notice no. 4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
