This application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. has been filed by the Petitioners with a prayer to quash the F.I.R. in Deogarh P.S. Case No.143 of 2011, corresponding to C.T. Case No.414 of 2011, pending in the Court of S.D.J.M., Deogarh, so also the entire proceeding.

Heard.

Since the F.I.R. allegation reveals prima facie a cognizable case, this Court is not inclined to quash the aforesaid F.I.R.

In the meanwhile, 10 years have been elapsed. The present status of the case is not known to the learned counsel for the Petitioner. However, if the case is still pending and charge has not been framed and also the case not commence for
// 2 // trial, the Petitioner may seek quashment of the cognizance/charge, if framed, if so advised.

With such liberty, this petition is disposed of being dismissed.
