Janmejay Pradhan v. Debasish Giri
IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
CRLMC No.197 of 2022 Janmejya Pradhan ....
Petitioner Mr. P.C. Jena, Advocate -VersusDebasish Giri ....
Opposite Party
CORAM:
MR. JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK
ORDER
21.11.2022 Order No.
01.
1.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
2.
The limited prayer by Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner is that complaint in 1CC Case No.276 of 2016 lying in the file of learned J.M.F.C., Jaleswar is required to be disposed of since it is pending from 2016.
3.
It is contended that the affidavit evidence is filed by the petitioner before the learned court below, however, there has been no real progress with regard to the trial since the opposite party is not extending cooperation and therefore, necessary direction may be issued to the learned J.M.F.C., Jaleswar for early commencement of trial and its completion.
4.
Considering the above, the CRLMC stands disposed of with a direction to the learned J.M.F.C., Jaleswar to commence the trial at the earliest in connection with 1CC Case No.276 of 2016 and
ensure its closure as soon as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the above order. 5.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules. (R.K. Pattanaik) Judge TUDU
