1. This matter is taken up through virtual mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

3. The Petitioner is in custody since 9th September, 2021 in connection with Dhenkanal Town P.S. Case No.365/2021 corresponding to C.T.(SS) No.13/2022(arising out of G.R. Case No.1067/2021) pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Dhenkanal for the alleged commission of the offence under

// 2 // Sections 498-A/306 of the I.P.C. read with Section 4 of the D.P. Act.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and the existence of materials prima facie in support thereof including the oral dying declaration of the deceased, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is, therefore, rejected.

5. It is open to the Petitioner to renew his prayer after examination of some material witnesses in the case including the informant.
