1. There is a delay of well over 100 days in furnishing the information under the RTI Act to the Applicant for which the maximum possible fine of Rs.25,000/- has been levied on the present Petitioner by the impugned order of the State Information Commission (SIC).

2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court finds no legal error committed by the SIC in levying the above penalty amount.

3. There is no merit in the present petition and it is dismissed as such. The interim order is vacated.
