This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode. 2.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to regularize her service in the post of Peon lying vacant in the office of the Municipal Council, Bargarh and grant all consequential financial and service benefits, as she has already rendered more than 26 years of service. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the claim of the petitioner for regularization of service has been rejected by the authority vide order dated 08.06.2020 under Annexure-14, even though the petitioner has already rendered more than 26 years of service. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after going through the records, the order dated 08.06.2020 under Annexure-14 is hereby quashed. The matter is remitted back to the authority to consider the case of the petitioner once again taking into consideration the order dated 29.11.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.36212 of 2021 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of

production/communication of certified/authenticated copy of this order.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court's notice no. 4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
