This writ petition involves the following prayer: " In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstance, it is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:

a. Admit the case, issue notice to the Opp. Parties and call for the record: And b. Direct the Sub-Registrar, Chikiti to finally decide the grievance of the petitioners which is already forwarded by the Tahasildar vide L.

No.4267 dt.29.9.2021 within a stipulated time that Your Lordships may deem fit and proper, in the interest of justice.

c. Pass any other writ/writs and order(s) / direction(s) that Your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice, equity and good conscience."

It is alleged that even though on the selfsame issue the application of the Petitioner vide Annexure-1 has been forwarded by the Tahasildar, Chikit for inquiry and necessary report, there is no action involving the same as yet.

Considering the allegation made by the Petitioner to be a serious one, this Court in disposal of the writ petition directs the Sub-Register, Chikiti to act on the request of the Petitioner vide Annexure-1 keeping in view Annexure-2 and pass a lawful order in the matter taking into account the plea taken in the writ petition. 4.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order alongwith a copy of the writ petition by the Petitioner.
