This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking to quash Annexure-2 and to issue direction to the opposite parties to consider the case of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Range Officer by convening a special DPC by counting his service period w.e.f. 2018.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioners have made representation to the opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-3 series and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time, giving opportunity of hearing to the opposite parties 3 to 9, to which learned State counsel has raised no objection.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.1 to consider the representation filed by the petitioners vide Annexure-3 series and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, giving opportunity of hearing to the opposite parties 3 to 9,

within a period of three months from the date of production of authenticated/certified copy of this order.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
