CORAM:
THE CHIEF JUSTICE JUSTICE R. K. PATTANAIK Order No.
ORDER
20.07.2022 04.
1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner refers to an order passed by the Tahasildar, Dhenkanal on 16th October, 2008 noting that the land in question has been kept in Category-V of Odapada Master plan and needs the approval of the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC), Northern Division, Sambalpur to bring it to Category-III(G) to make it leasable. It is submitted that the proceedings are still awaiting the decision of the RDC.
2. The limited prayer here is therefore for a direction to the RDC to convey its decision on the grant of approval for conversion of the category of the land in question to category-III(G) in a time bound manner.
3. Considering the limited nature of the prayer, a direction is issued to the RDC, Northern Division, Sambalpur to convey its decision on the question of bringing the land within Category-III(G) within a period of 8 weeks from today and in any event, not later than 1st October, 2022. For this purpose, the Petitioner will appear before the RDC, Northern Division, Sambalpur along with a downloaded copy of this order on 16th August, 2022.
4. The petition is disposed of in the above terms. (Dr. S. Muralidhar) Chief Justice (R. K. Pattanaik) Judge M. Panda
