This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.
2. Heard Ms. D. Mahapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D. Tripathy, learned Central Government Counsel for the opposite parties.
3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite party no.2 to release the enhanced salary and grade pay in his favour w.e.f. 01.01.2009 till date.
4. As it appears, opposite party no.4-LAO (Army), Bhubaneswar vide Annexure-5 dated 11.02.2020 has recommended the case of the petitioner to opposite party no.2. It is contended that the same is still pending for consideration and direction may be issued to implement the same.
5. Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner,
this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.2 to act upon the recommendation made by opposite party no.4 vide Annexure-5 dated 11.02.2020 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months, if there is no other impediment.

As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court's notice no. 4798 dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515 dated 7th January, 2022.
